Description
On the day of your adventure, we will assemble at the fishing harbour in Alta at the designated time. This immersive tour offers a chance to unplug from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
After organizing the gear, a brief introduction and safety briefing will be provided before we head out onto the tranquil waters of the Altafjord. Fishing in a fjord offers the benefit of calmer conditions compared to coastal environments, allowing you to relax and enjoy the experience while fishing.
Throughout the day, you can expect to catch local Norwegian varieties such as cod, coalfish, haddock, redfish, and Atlantic halibut, amongst others. The crew is also flexible in meeting any specific requirements you may have regarding equipment. Should you prefer to use your own tackle, you are welcome to bring it.
What’s more, you have the opportunity to harvest your own dinner! Any fish you catch and wish to savor later can be gutted and prepared by the captain on board. Light snacks, along with tea, coffee, and water, will be provided during the experience, ensuring you stay refreshed.
Approximately four hours later, we will conclude this remarkable fishing journey back at the original meeting spot. See you soon!

Informations importantes
On the day of the activity, please be at the following meeting point at the scheduled time: Fiskerihavna (fishing harbour) Alta 9515, Finnmark, NO, Norway. Please arrive at least 30 minutes beforehand.

We recommend bringing with you: woollen underwear as the first layer, a fleece jacket, a woollen sweater, a middle layer jacket, headwear, mittens, boots or insulated shoes.
Important
If needs be you can borrow boots, woollen socks, mittens and headwear.
Alcohol is strictly forbidden onboard the boat.
If you have your own fishing equipment, feel free to bring it with you on the day. Fishing equipment is not included in this tour but can be rented if needed.
Please keep in mind that this activity is subject to the weather conditions. If the safety of the crew and guests cannot be guaranteed the activity will be cancelled. With this, we offer flexible options such as postponing the tour to the following day, switching to a different tour, or refunding the tour.
