Activity Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Oudezijds Voorburgwal and hop onto a boat for a ride through Amsterdam's canals. The capital of the Netherlands is known as the Venice of the North, with 100 kilometres (62 miles) of canals dividing the city into small islands connected by historic bridges.

Along the way, we'll pass the Herengracht, Keizersgracht, and Prinsengracht, Amsterdam's most famous canals. Enjoy views of the façades from the Golden Age period.

During the boat trip, an English-speaking guide will share historical facts about the places and monuments we see, including the iconic Magere Brug over the Amstel River. We will conclude this 1-hour experience at the departure pier.
