Details of the Day Trip

Our adventure begins at 6:30 am as we leave your accommodation in Aracaju, heading towards the São Francisco River and the Xingó Canyon, recognized as the fifth largest navigable gorge across the globe.

Upon arrival, we will commence a scenic boat journey through the Xingó Canyon. Here, you will marvel at the imposing red rock cliffs that tower up to 50 meters (164 feet) high, providing breathtaking views perfect for capturing with your camera.

As we glide over the turquoise waters of the canyon, we will pass by various filming locations for the hit soap operas Velho Chico and Cordel Encantado. Along the way, we will share fascinating stories and trivia related to these beloved series.

The boat ride will take us to the Talhado Grotto, where you'll have two hours to enjoy the São Francisco River. This time is ideal for swimming or relaxing, and it’s also an opportunity to savor any food you've packed for the outing.

Finally, we will return to the starting point and make our way back to Aracaju, with a scheduled hotel drop-off expected around 7:30 pm.

The tour includes complimentary pickup from hotels situated in the central district of Orla de Aracaju. If your accommodation is located in a different area, we will provide an alternative meeting point for your convenience.
