At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your hotel in the heart of Auckland and commence our two-hour drive to Matamata. Prepare to enter the realm of Middle-earth!

Upon arrival, we'll step into an enchanting world where we can soak in the lush, emerald scenery of Hobbiton, dotted with charming Hobbit Holes. It's easy to feel as though we've fallen into Peter Jackson's magical creation.

As we traverse Hobbiton, you'll gain insight into the making of the beloved "The Lord of The Rings" trilogy. We will uncover the iconic attractions of this stunning film set, including Bilbo Baggins’ residence, the picturesque Mill, and the inviting Green Dragon Inn, where you’ll have the opportunity to sample a unique, locally brewed drink. Furthermore, a visit to one of the delightful Hobbit Holes is on the itinerary!

Next, we will proceed to Waitomo to explore its renowned caves.
