Operational Details

Upon booking, it’s not necessary to choose the attractions you wish to visit upfront. You can decide what to visit while in Barcelona.

It's important to note that certain attractions may require advance reservations. After your purchase, a link will be provided for making any required reservations.

The Essentials Pass enables single access to each of the 3 attractions you select. While a start date is required during booking, you have up to 1 year from the date of purchase to use the pass.

Activation occurs at your first attraction visit, remaining valid for 30 days after activation.

Operational Details

While booking, you will need to select the number of attractions you wish to access: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7. Remember, each attraction may only be visited once.

A specific start date is needed during the booking process, but you can enjoy your pass benefits for 12 months from the purchase date. Activate your pass when visiting your first attraction. At every site, simply display the QR codes received upon booking on your mobile device. Your pass remains valid for 30 days post-activation.

Children Under 4

Children's passes for both the Essentials and Explorer Pass options are valid for kids aged 4 to 12. Most attractions included extend free entry to children under 4 years. It’s advisable to check each attraction’s official site for additional details.

Go City: Barcelona Essentials Pass

This booking confirmation is not a ticket and cannot be exchanged for physical tickets or used to access attractions directly.
Your confirmation email will include an attached PDF. Please check that the file contains the passes you purchased, each with a unique QR code per user. If you don't receive the PDF, you can contact us through our web contact form.

Downloading the electronic pass will not activate it. To use your pass, simply present the QR code from your electronic pass at the entrance of each attraction. Please save the mobile-friendly PDF so you can easily open and show it on your phone to access the attractions.

The Go City: Barcelona Essentials Pass gives you one-time access to each of the 3 attractions you choose. Although a start date is required at the time of booking, you can use the pass within one year of purchase.

The pass activates on your first visit and expires 30 days after activation.

Children Under 3

Children under 3 don't need a pass, as they can access all attractions and viewpoints for free.

Go City: Barcelona Explorer Pass

This booking confirmation isn't a valid ticket and cannot be exchanged for physical tickets or used to access Barcelona's tourist attractions.

In your confirmation email, you'll find an attached PDF file. You must check that the file contains the passes purchased with a unique QR code for each user. If you do not receive the PDF within 72 hours, please contact us at: https://www.civitatis.com/en/contact/

Downloading the electronic pass won't activate it. In order to use your tourist pass, you must present the QR code that appears on your e-pass at the entrance to the attractions.

It's therefore important that the PDF you save with the QR codes is compatible with your mobile phones so that you can open it easily and display it on your device when you enter the attractions.
