Tour Overview
The city of Barcelona boasts numerous churches rich in beauty and architectural significance. Would you like to see one of the finest examples? At the scheduled time, we will convene at the Pla de la Seu, 7, to commence our guided exploration of the Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia.
We will begin by examining the façade of Barcelona Cathedral, constructed during the reign of King James the Just in the 13th century. As we do so, we will uncover the history behind this magnificent structure and share some of its most intriguing legends.
Stepping inside, we will be greeted by the stunning Gothic features that can be found throughout. Our journey will take us through three naves, allowing us to appreciate its nine chapels, exquisite stained-glass windows, and the impressive vault. Along the way, we will discuss the temple's historical significance and the notable individuals interred within, including Count Ramon Berenguer.
A special focus will be given to the marble altar, and we will explore the cloister, which is among the Cathedral's most treasured sections. To enhance your visit, we will provide you with virtual reality glasses, allowing you to appreciate this site from a unique perspective.
After concluding the interior visit, we will make our way to the terraces of the Cathedral, where you will be treated to breathtaking views of Barcelona that are sure to captivate you.
Ultimately, after a leisurely duration of an hour and fifteen minutes of exploration, we will conclude our guided tour at the entrance of the Cathedral, bringing this enriching experience to a close.
