Elephant Conservation Center Day Trip

Experience a memorable day excursion to an elephant conservation center in Chiang Mai - a must-do experience in Thailand!

Description

Your journey will begin with a pickup from your accommodation in Chiang Mai, taking place between 7 and 8 am, followed by a stop for a hearty breakfast. After approximately 1.5 hours of travel, we will reach the Elephant Conservation Center.

Upon arrival, the center's staff will share insights into the conservation initiatives designed to enhance the well-being of these gentle giants. Following this introduction, you'll have the unique opportunity to feed the elephants cucumbers, as they are accustomed to human interaction.

After the feeding experience, we will stroll 1.5 miles (2.5 km) alongside the elephants towards a river, where you can watch the elephants enjoying their bath. At the riverbank, a vehicle will be ready to transport us to a nearby waterfall, where you can also refresh yourself in the cool waters.

Post-swim, we will visit a local restaurant for a satisfying lunch. The typical menu features a meat option, papaya salad, fried rice, and various vegetables. Additionally, vegan and vegetarian meals can be arranged upon request.

As the day draws to a close, we will return to your hotel in Chiang Mai, arriving between 4 and 5 pm.

Hotel Pickup

Pickup service is available for hotels within a 1.2-mile radius (2 km) of Chiang Mai. If your accommodation is outside this area, you will need to reach one of the designated hotels for the pickup. Details of the pickup location will be provided upon confirmation of your booking.
