Chiang Rai Guided Tour
Description
Discover the Essence of Chiang Rai: Immerse yourself in the wonders of Chiang Rai by experiencing its captivating natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and remarkable Buddhist temples through this guided tour.
Guided Tour of Chiang Rai
The adventure begins with a hotel pickup at 8:30 am on the day of your scheduled tour, setting the tone for an exciting exploration of Chiang Rai.
This northern province of Thailand showcases an intriguing blend of architecture and cultural influences from both Thai and Burmese origins along the border. Our initial stop will be at Wat Phra Kaew, an exquisite Buddhist temple erected in the 14th century during the Lanna Empire. It is in this historic site where the renowned Emerald Buddha was discovered before being relocated to Bangkok. During the visit, you will have the opportunity to see a replica of this revered statue.
Once you've absorbed the breathtaking aesthetics and spiritual significance of Wat Phra Kaew, we will continue our journey toward the river. Here, we'll embark on a traditional long tail boat and experience Chiang Rai from the tranquil waters of the Kok River.
As we glide along, you'll have the chance to admire the picturesque houses and monuments that line the banks, and we will also navigate close to Tham Phra Cave, a sacred site featuring a Buddhist temple nestled within a natural cave.
Concluding our four-hour tour of Chiang Rai, we will return you to your hotel located in the city center.
