We'll begin our adventure at the designated time, gathering at the People’s Liberation Monument before making our way to the nearby Bayi Road Market. What better starting point for our culinary excursion through Chongqing?

In this noteworthy location, illuminated by vibrant neon lights, enticing aromas will envelop us, igniting our cravings. Our taste journey kicks off at a traditional food stall, where we will savor chuan chuan along with classic marinated beef skewers, crafted using time-honored family recipes.

Our path then leads us through the renowned Jiaochangkou streets, a fascinating maze where vibrant red signs meet the quaint old homes of Chongqing, juxtaposed with towering skyscrapers that stand guard over the Yangtze River. This is an ideal opportunity to indulge in legendary hotpot noodles, wanzamian, and savory dumplings. Fun fact: the spicy noodles here are famous for being infused with chili oil over several hours!
