Activity Overview

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Panama City at your preferred time, after which we will head toward the Panama Canal. Our first stop will be the Pedro Miguel Locks, where you will observe vessels traversing this intricate system of channels and gain insight into the standard operations.

Next, we will visit the Centenario Bridge, where you can marvel at the large cargo ships and discover exciting details, such as the typical number of containers carried, the volume of fresh water lost with each vessel passage, and the significance of their flags.

Following this, we will proceed to the pier at Gamboa, preparing for a delightful cruise. Here, you will embark on a 45-minute speedboat journey through Gatun Lake. Get close to impressive vessels including tuna boats, grain carriers, refrigerated ships, oil tankers, and cruise ships, while we discuss their distinctions and the attributes of their crews. This promises to be a memorable experience!

Once we conclude our exploration of the lake alongside these monumental ships, we will return to the pier and make our way back to Panama City, reaching your hotel in approximately 5 hours.

In this case, you will follow a similar itinerary as previously outlined, but instead of visiting the Pedro Miguel Locks, you will delve into the Miraflores Locks.
