Perolniyoc & Raqaypata Quad Bike Tour

Experience the Sacred Valley of the Incas like never before on a quad biking adventure! This excursion combines the thrill of driving all-terrain vehicles with stunning views of waterfalls and ancient ruins as you explore Perolniyoc and Raqaypata.

Activity Overview

Your journey begins when we pick you up from your accommodation in Cusco, heading toward the stunning Sacred Valley of the Incas in a spacious vehicle or minibus. The trip takes around 1.5 hours until we reach the quad biking base in Pachar, where you’ll receive an introductory briefing on operating the quads, followed by a short practice session to ensure you're ready to go.

Next, we’ll hop on the quad bikes and set off for a 40-minute ride to the community of Socma. From this point, we’ll take a scenic walk of about 45 minutes to the breathtaking Perolniyoc Waterfall, a beautiful natural site that served as an Inca ceremonial location. You will be captivated by its beauty!

Upon arrival, you’ll have some time to soak in the surroundings and enjoy a delicious snack, which includes a sandwich, fruit, an energy bar, and water. If you opt to continue, we’ll embark on an additional 1.5-hour hike to the Inca ruins of Raqaypata, situated high above the canyon.

After your exploration of the archaeological site at Raqaypata, we’ll retrace our steps back to the quad camp. From there, we will drive to Cusco, making a final stop at the Ñaupa Iglesia, an Inca temple renowned for its finely carved altars, rich in legends and mysteries that are sure to intrigue you.

Finally, we’ll drop you off at your hotel after a fulfilling journey lasting between 9 and 10 hours.

• Those under 18 may join as passengers
• Note that pricing is per quad, not per individual

Pickup Information

This tour includes pickup from hotels in central Cusco. If you are located outside the central area or in an Airbnb, please make your way to 265 calle Garcilaso for departure.
