Your journey begins at 7 am when we collect you from your accommodation in Sigiriya to embark on a trip northward towards the historic city of Anuradhapura.

After approximately an hour and a half, we will reach our destination, ready to delve into this region rich in temples and Buddhist heritage. Anuradhapura served as the capital for the Sinhalese kingdoms for over a millennium, making it a significant locale.

The vast monumental area of Anuradhapura spans over 40 square kilometers, offering a plethora of intriguing sites to uncover. You will have the chance to visit the remarkable Isurumuniya Vihara, renowned for its exquisite stone carvings, the revered sacred tree of Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, the pristine Ruvanvelisaya Dagoba, and the notable Samadhi Buddha sculpture.
