Lake 69 Trip

Lake 69 Excursion

Your adventure will commence between 5:00 and 5:30 am when we collect you from your accommodation in Huaraz. From there, we will travel by bus for approximately an hour and a half to Huascaran National Park.

Upon arrival, we will disembark and embark on a remarkable trek. As we ascend, you’ll be surrounded by the vibrant flora and fauna that are unique to this part of Peru. Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive puna partridge or the majestic Andean condor, the latter of which was believed by the Incas to be immortal!

After a three-hour hike, we will reach our goal: Lagoon 69. The moment you gaze upon its brilliant turquoise waters, you'll be enchanted by its beauty. You will then have a full hour of leisure time to wander around and enjoy your lunch (not included).

For the adventurous, a swim in the icy waters awaits, but be prepared for the frigid temperature! Following our time at the lagoon, we will trek back to the park entrance, where our bus will be ready to transport you back to your hotel.

We expect to arrive in Huaraz around 8 pm.
