Day Trip Details

After pickup from hotels in Panama City, the journey begins with a 2-hour drive north to Puerto Lindo, in the province of Colón. A short stop will be made along the way for leg stretching.

Upon arrival, guests will board a speedboat, marking the start of the genuine Caribbean adventure. After a brief ride across calm waters, Monkey Island will be the first stop. From the boat, participants will have the opportunity to see spider monkeys in their natural habitat as they leap between trees and curiously observe from above.

The journey continues to a natural pool area where there will be time for swimming. Next, the Tunnel of Love will be searched for—a natural passage covered in mangroves, creating a magical play of light and color as nature surrounds the water. This enchanting ride is characterized by the soothing sounds of nature interrupted only by the boat.

Soon, the silhouette of Mamey Island will come into view. Upon arrival, participants will have 4 hours of free time to enjoy the beach. Options include swimming, sunbathing, and, when hunger strikes, a lunch will be served featuring chicken or fish with seasonal sides and a soft drink.

Refreshed, the group will return by boat to the mainland. Afterward, a vehicle will transport everyone to the historic ruins of Portobelo. A guided tour lasting approximately 30 minutes will recount the historical significance of these shores in the colonial and commercial narrative of the Panamanian Caribbean.

Finally, the trip concludes with a return to hotels in Panama City, marking the end of 9 hours of exploration.
