Montecrestese Hiking + Wine Tasting Experience

Our adventure begins at 8:20 am at the Collegiate Church of San Vittore, where we will meet before boarding a bus that will take us away from Cannobio to our hiking destination in Montecrestese, approximately 1 hour away.

Upon arrival, we will set off on a 3 hour and 30 minute trek through the breathtaking surroundings of Montecrestese. This path offers an intimate connection with the serenity of nature enveloping the village.

During our hike, you will have the opportunity to take in the stunning views of the Ossola Valley and stroll along the banks of the River Toce. Additionally, we will encounter impressive megalithic sites that harken back to ancient eras, discovering their historical significance as places of worship, burial grounds, and remnants of old settlements.

Following our trek and a glimpse at the charming facades of rural churches, we will arrive at a welcoming wine cellar for a delightful wine tasting. This tasting will feature 3 glasses of locally produced reds and whites, complemented by cheese, sausages, and bread from the region.

After this enriching experience, we will return to the bus, concluding our adventure at 5 pm at the original meeting point.
