Description
On this tour, you'll have the opportunity to explore Nara, Japan's first capital, and the stunning Fushimi Inari Taisha Shinto sanctuary, a location made famous by the film "Memoirs of a Geisha".
Itinerary
Your experience begins with a hotel pickup, followed by a train ride to Inari, where we will visit the Fushimi Inari Taisha Temple.
The Fushimi Inari Taisha is dedicated to the deity Inari, revered for fertility, rice, agriculture, and business success. It is renowned for its thousands of vibrant red toriis that line the paths leading up the hill, captivating visitors around the globe after its appearance in "Memoirs of A Geisha".
Next, we will head to Nara, the first capital of Japan from 710 to 784. Here, we will visit two significant temples: Kofukuji, known for its impressive pagoda, and Todaiji, recognized as the largest wooden structure in the world.
Following our temple visits, we'll take some time to explore the beautiful Nara Park, home to numerous deer, which are considered the ancient messengers of the Gods.
The tour concludes at the central station in Kyoto.
