Description

At the appointed time, we will gather at the dive center located within the Hotel Colombo. Here, participants will receive a safety briefing before collecting their snorkeling gear and boarding the minibus heading to the port. Prepare to immerse yourself in the crystalline waters of Santa Maria.

Once on board our vessel, we will navigate into the Atlantic Ocean in search of the perfect spot to snorkel. Following a brief presentation from our team, participants will embark on their first dive, lasting between 30 to 45 minutes, with opportunities to observe tuna, swordfish, and even turtles.

The waters of Santa Maria are home to an array of fascinating marine species. Among the underwater life awaiting discovery are wrasses, triggerfish, Atlantic damselfish, octopus, cuttlefish, alongside various sea urchins and starfish. These clear waters and diverse marine inhabitants deliver a snorkeling experience that is truly singular!

Throughout the experience, it is essential to maintain respect for the natural aquatic environment while adhering to safe and responsible diving practices.

Upon completing the snorkeling session, we will return to the boat to savor the scenery while enjoying a light snack. After taking a short break of around half an hour, we'll prepare for our second dive.

Participants will spend another 30 to 45 minutes marveling at the stunning qualities of the Azorean seabed and may even catch sight of exquisite stingrays, coral formations, and sponges.

Following this final snorkeling encounter, we will return to the port and transport you back to the original meeting point, concluding our engaging activity after six hours.
