Surfing Experience at Double Island Point

We'll gather around 6 am on Rainbow Beach Road and embark on an adventure in a 4x4 vehicle, cruising along the breathtaking Australian coastline. As we navigate down Great Beach Drive, take a moment to appreciate the stunning vistas of Rainbow Beach and its vibrant hues.

Upon entering the lush expanse of Great Sandy National Park, we'll arrive at Double Island Point, recognized as a surfer's haven. Here, we will collect our surfboards and begin to master the fundamentals of the sport on the safety of the shore.

Once prepared, we will plunge into the surf to catch some genuine waves. Double Island Point is renowned for hosting the longest wave in Australia! After honing our skills with take-offs and bottom turns until we feel exhausted, we'll unwind on the golden shore of the beach.

Following this memorable lesson in one of the top surf locales globally, we’ll return to our starting point via the 4x4.
