Our journey into Dushanbe's rich past begins at the Ismail Samani Memorial, dedicated to the governor of the Samanid Empire and the founder of modern Tajikistan. This significant historical figure is also honored with a name shared by the highest mountain in the former Soviet Union. In this area, you will also encounter the Presidential Palace and the remarkable national flag, which proudly stands atop the tallest flagpole globally, soaring to 541 feet (165 meters)!

Continuing our exploration, we'll visit the National Museum, featuring 22 rooms filled with an impressive array of exhibits encompassing both ancient artifacts and contemporary artworks – this is a wonderful passage through Tajikistan's heritage.
