Ningaloo Day Trip
Description
Join us on a captivating day trip to Ningaloo, where you will uncover the stunning reefs and the breathtaking landscapes of Cape Range National Park, two highlights of Western Australia. Prepare for an unforgettable experience!
Trip Overview
Your adventure begins as we collect you from your accommodation in Exmouth at the scheduled time to embark on this thrilling excursion to Ningaloo. With a warm cup of tea, coffee, or juice in hand, we’ll hit the road toward Cape Range National Park. Let the journey commence!
The ride will last roughly 1 hour and 15 minutes, during which we’ll share intriguing details about the region's history and keep an eye out for local wildlife, including emus, dingoes, and birds of prey.
Our initial destination will be Yardie Creek, where we will embark on a 2-kilometer (1.3 miles) hike. Over the next 1.5 hours, we’ll pause to observe the local wildlife and appreciate the gorge shaped by centuries of natural forces.
Following our trek, we’ll savor some refreshments before heading to the renowned Turquoise Bay beach, a short 20-minute drive away. Here, we’ll have the chance to snorkel. Equipped with the necessary gear and following a brief safety orientation, we will immerse ourselves in the clear waters, unveiling a world of corals, vibrant fish, and perhaps even spotting sea turtles or reef sharks.
After our snorkeling adventure, we’ll make a stop at the Milyering Visitor Centre. While we prepare a fresh lunch for you, take a moment to explore the exhibits featuring the local flora and fauna, including a remarkable megalodon tooth and other intriguing artifacts, as well as a souvenir shop.
Rejuvenated, we’ll return to Exmouth, stopping at Vlamingh Head Lighthouse along the way. Here, you can enjoy sweeping views of the coastline and Exmouth Gulf. If you happen to visit between July and October, keep your eyes peeled for humpback whales from this spectacular lookout. It's a truly astonishing sight!
As the day winds down, we’ll ultimately make our way back to Exmouth, where we’ll bid farewell at your accommodation after an enriching 8 hours filled with exploration.
