Half-Day Tour (3.5 Hours)

We will begin our journey along the renowned Bai Causeway, an emblematic trail at West Lake named after the poet Bai Juyi. This pathway offers changing vistas throughout the four seasons: lush peach blossoms in spring, verdant willows in summer, fragrant osmanthus in autumn, and tranquil snow in winter, each embodying its own distinctive allure.

The next point of interest is the esteemed Lingyin Temple, the premier Buddhist temple in southeastern China. During our visit to this sanctified site, established in 326 AD, we will explore its halls adorned with exquisite limestone-carved statues.

While we traverse this ancient Buddhist monastery, nestled amid the verdant hills adjacent to West Lake, you will encounter a variety of captivating stories about its peaceful ambiance and the impressive rock-carved artistry.

Following our exploration, we will proceed to Hefang, Hangzhou’s thriving commercial hub for over a millennium, retaining its historical character and charm.

Full-Day Tour (8.5 Hours)

This tour of Hangzhou mirrors the half-day itinerary initially, with visits to Bai Causeway and Lingyin Temple as our first destinations.

Subsequently, enjoy an hour of free time for lunch nearby the temple. After recharging, we'll head to the renowned Longjing green tea fields, an expansive plantation within Hangzhou, where you will learn about the cultivation of one of China's most celebrated beverages.

Post-exploration of the tea fields, we will return to the area surrounding West Lake to take in breathtaking views of the Leifeng Pagoda, recognized as the first pagoda in China constructed with carved copper.

This enriching experience will conclude on Hefang Commercial Street.

While the tour primarily involves walking, there may be instances where it is required to navigate the West Lake area via taxi, which costs roughly 80 CNY for a group of up to 5 passengers.
