Tour Details

We will convene at the entrance of the Palacio de Tejada, conveniently situated near the Bodegas Manzanos Haro. Are you prepared to discover the oldest winery in Haro? Let’s embark on a journey through La Rioja’s wine heritage!

Once everyone is assembled, a discussion about the Denominación de Origen Rioja will commence, providing insights into the unique wines produced at Manzanos Haro. Did you know it holds the distinction of being the only operational 19th-century winery with a vertical design? You will uncover many intriguing facts!

Upon arriving at the winery, found in the historic Calle Las Cuevas, we will immerse ourselves in the rich history of La Rioja wines, revered globally for their exceptional quality. This tour will include a visit to the wine museum and the various rooms that illustrate the winemaking process, tracing the grape’s transformation from vineyard harvest to final bottling.

As we navigate the Bodegas Manzanos Haro, you will venture through its five underground levels, including the wine cellar, which features a remarkable aging room housed in 19th-century oak barrels and the ancient 15th-century bottle crypt.

To conclude this enriching tour, we will partake in a guided tasting of five premium wines from Manzanos Haro, complemented by cheeses.
