Tour Options

When reserving your spot for this private excursion to the Iberá Marshes, you can select to explore Portal Cambyretá or Portal San Nicolás. Both tours include pick-up and drop-off at your hotel in Ituzaingó at the agreed time and are accompanied by an English-speaking guide.

Visit to Portal Cambyretá (7.5 hours)

Your adventure begins as we leave from Ituzaingó towards the expansive Iberá National Park. Situated within the province of Corrientes, this impressive wetland is home to the Portal Cambyretá.

Upon arrival, we will engage in a hike along the various trails that lead deep into the marshland. This unique ecosystem boasts a rich diversity of wildlife, where you may catch sight of capybaras, caimans, and marsh deer.

Afterwards, we will head to a designated rest area to enjoy a tasty meal featuring cold beverages and herbal teas, paired with pastries and sweets. Following lunch, we will begin our return to your accommodations.

Visit to Portal San Nicolás (12 hours)

Following your pick-up from your hotel in Ituzaingó, we will set off towards Portal San Nicolás, another integral part of the Iberá National Park.

The tour will kick off at the Carambola stream, where you can participate in a kayaking or canoeing adventure, according to your preference. As we navigate through the waters, you'll have the chance to observe birds, caimans, capybaras, and other native species.

Once this activity concludes, we will proceed to a rest area for a traditional lunch, consisting of empanadas or sandwiches, paired with a cold drink or herbal tea. Afterward, we will continue our exploration along the trails surrounding Portal San Nicolás.

Once our exploration is complete, we will return to the resting area to enjoy the same snack as offered previously. Following this, we will make our way back to your hotels.
