Kigali Bicycle Excursion

Gather at KN 3 Rd to commence our two-wheeled adventure through Rwanda's capital. Climbing onto our electric bikes, we will make our way to the first stop: Kigali Heights, a contemporary shopping complex that exemplifies the interplay between heritage and modernity.

Our journey continues as we ride to MADS Kigali, a hub for local artistic expression. Here, community artists showcase their talents through paintings, sculptures, photography, and various artistic forms, illuminating the rich diversity and beauty of Rwanda.

Afterward, we will visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial. This solemn site honors the victims of the 1994 ethnic genocide and provides insight into the historical implications of those tragic events. Visitors can also encounter stories from survivors and learn about ongoing initiatives aimed at fostering peace.

Next, we'll make our way to Imbuga City Walk, a charming pedestrian zone offering breathtaking vistas of Kigali's hills and valleys. Our adventure will then lead us to Biryogo Car Free Food Street, where we can indulge in genuine Rwandan cuisine. Here, various food stalls present an array of traditional fare including ugali (a cornmeal staple), brochette (skewers of meat or fish), isombe (a savory cassava leaf soup), and akabenz (crispy fried pork).

After a delightful 3-hour cycling journey through Kigali, we will return our bikes to the starting location, concluding this enriching tour.
