Ao Thalane Kayak Tour

During booking, choose between a half-day and full-day kayak tour. Both include pickup from your hotel, an English-speaking guide, kayaking equipment, and lunch.

Half-Day Kayak Tour

After hotel pickup, a 30-minute drive will take you to a fishing village, arriving at Ao Thalane. An explanation on kayak usage will be provided before starting the exploration of this area, renowned as the kayaking capital of Krabi province. Row through mangrove swamps, limestone canyons, and caves, while learning about the local biodiversity. After kayaking, return to Krabi for hotel drop-off.

Full-Day Kayak Tour

For an extended experience, choose the full-day tour. Following hotel pickup, you will board a boat at the pier heading to Ao Thalane. A kayak usage explanation precedes the guided tour of mangroves and canyons. A 1-hour lunch break follows kayaking, with an additional 2 hours for exploration. Return to the hotel after the tour.

Pickup and schedules

The tour includes hotel pickup in Krabi Town, Klong Muang, and Ao Nang. Ao Nang pickup incurs no extra cost with at least two passengers; otherwise, a fee of 100THB per person applies. Pickup from Klong Muang costs 100THB per person. These fees are payable to the driver on the day.

Starting times are:

Half-day tour: 8:30 am or 1:30 pm
Full-day tour: 8:30 am

Guided Service

If inexperienced with kayaks, request a guide for 300THB per person, payable on-site.

Informations importantes

On the day of the activity, the local provider will pick you up from your hotel in Krabi at the scheduled time. We recommend being ready in the hotel reception 10 minutes early.

Please bear in mind that the pickup time is around 30 minutes before the start of the activity, depending on the location of your hotel.

Important

The tour includes hotel pickup in Krabi Town, Klong Muang and Ao Nang. Pickup from Ao Nang is at no additional cost, as is pickup in Krabi Town as long as at least two people are picked up. If not, you'll be charged 100THB per person. Pickup from Klong Muang costs 100TBH per person. These supplement charges will be paid to the driver on the day.
