Tour Overview

The journey begins at The Steakhouse on Calle Murillo, centrally located within La Paz. From this meeting point, we will venture on an off-the-beaten-path route, exploring sites that captivate the local residents of this vibrant capital.

For an immersive experience, we’ll navigate the city using public transportation (buses, minibuses, and cable cars), blending in with the locals as we travel to various tour highlights. Our first destination will be the Cementerio General, a vast burial ground steeped in history, housing the remains of numerous significant figures.

Following our visit, we’ll take the cable car up to El Alto, where you can enjoy stunning views from an altitude of 2.5 miles (4,000 meters) on the Altiplano plateau. Our journey will continue to the witches' market, where you have the option to receive a fortune reading using coca leaves from a local yatiri (shaman).

To conclude this enriching experience, we will visit the El Alto viewpoint, offering a spectacular vista of La Paz's valley alongside the majestic Illimani Mountain towering in the distance.
