Why Experience KÁ?

The narrative of KÁ is inspired by the ancient Egyptian philosophy of duality. In this tale, two twins, a male and a female, embark on a journey to confront elemental forces as they strive to reunite after being separated at birth.

Stage Design

The performance unfolds in a remarkable setting that boasts two massive platforms instead of a traditional stage. These platforms are complemented by an array of elevators which ascend, descend, rotate, and vanish, enhancing the dynamism of the show and earning multiple technical accolades.

Moreover, KÁ features a stage that revolves 360 degrees, and each performance includes the spectacle of two tons of granular cork, replicating the effect of sand. Highlights such as the pre-show involving 120 fireballs shot up to 30 feet (9m) with a temperature reaching 572ºF (600ºC) augment the grandeur of the evening.

An additional striking feature is a boat weighing 1102lbs (500 kg), which is deftly manipulated on stage by the performers during the dramatic storm scene.
