Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Departure from Las Vegas - Visiting Zion & Bryce Canyon
We'll gather at the bus loading area outside the Palms Casino at the scheduled time. Begin your 7-day expedition across the majestic national parks of the western U.S. onboard a comfortable minibus.
The journey kicks off with a visit to Zion National Park, where participants can enjoy an easy hike amid stunning dunes. Our next destination is Bryce Canyon National Park, renowned for its breathtaking geological formations known as hoodoos, painted in vibrant shades of crimson.
Overnight accommodations will be arranged at a campground or hotel in Bryce Canyon.
Day 2: Bryce Canyon - Lake Powell - Monument Valley
After a fulfilling breakfast, we will board the minibus once more for our next stop at Lake Powell. This location boasts some of the most awe-inspiring views in the American Southwest and has served as the backdrop for numerous classic western films.
From there, we will embark in a powerful off-roading vehicle to reach Monument Valley, located within the Navajo reservation. This experience provides a fantastic opportunity to delve into the history and culture of the area’s original inhabitants!
Additionally, an optional visit to Antelope Canyon is available. Its unique rock formations captivate all who encounter them, making it a must-visit landmark in Arizona.
The day concludes with accommodations in Monument Valley, either at a campground or a hotel.
Day 3: Monument Valley - Grand Canyon National Park & South Rim - Return to Las Vegas
On the third day, we will explore two remarkable highlights of our tour: the Grand Canyon and the South Rim.
Here, we will learn about the Navajo tribes and experience the beauty of this grand reserve as we stroll along various viewpoints of the Grand Canyon. Recognized as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, the South Rim reveals stunning vistas. For those interested, an optional helicopter flight offers a unique aerial perspective.
We'll retire for the evening at a hotel in Las Vegas.
Day 4: Las Vegas - Death Valley - Bishop
After breakfast, we'll proceed into California, stopping at the world-renowned Death Valley, one of Earth’s hottest locales.
This visit will take us to iconic sites within the park, including Zabriskie Point, Badwater Basin, and the Furnace Creek Visitor Center. After exploring Death Valley, a picnic lunch will follow.
We’ll wrap up the day by arriving at Bishop, where accommodations await.
Day 5: Bishop - Yosemite National Park
The next destination on our adventure is Yosemite National Park.
We will travel through the stunning Tioga Mountain Pass, conditions permitting, offering breathtaking views of Olmsted Point, Tenaya and Mono Lakes, and the Tuolumne Overlook.
Our evening accommodations can be found at a campground or hotel within Yosemite National Park.
Day 6: Exploring Yosemite National Park
After a restful night, dedicate the entire day to immersing in the wonders of Yosemite National Park.
With a knowledgeable guide, we'll traverse numerous picturesque trails to encounter the park’s highlights, including the stunning Bridalveil Waterfall, dropping an impressive 617 feet (188 meters), the famed Lower Yosemite Fall trail, along with the granite marvels of Half Dome and the imposing El Capitan. Did you know the latter rises with a vertical wall of 3,000 feet (914 meters)? It's a dream destination for climbers!
For those preferring independence, exploring the park at one's own pace is also an option. Regardless of your choice, you'll spend another night in Yosemite National Park.
