Details of the Day Trip

We'll convene at the specified meeting point in Lima at the scheduled time to commence our journey to San Mateo de Otao, located in the Huarochirí province. As we travel, a brief stop at the Mirador la Doncella will allow you to take in the breathtaking views while enjoying a light breakfast.

Approximately 3.5 hours into our trip, we'll arrive at San Mateo de Otao, where you will have 2 hours to engage in your choice of adventure activities. You may choose to traverse a suspension bridge, rent a zipline bike for a thrilling ride, or capture memorable photos at the Mano de Dios (Hand of God) and the Luna Gigante (Giant Moon). Get ready for a surge of adrenaline!

Following these exhilarating activities, a 1-hour hiking journey will lead us to the waterfall of Otao. This trek will take you across scenic trails adorned with native flora and small elevated areas that will test your endurance. Upon arrival at the waterfall, you will have one hour for exploration and the chance to enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural waters.

Once the adventure concludes, we will proceed to the town of Ucro, where you can enjoy a traditional lunch. Rejuvenated, we'll experience an exhilarating cable car ride soaring 984 feet (300 meters) above the terrain, covering a distance of 1640 feet (500 meters). The panoramic views of the valley from this vantage point are truly breathtaking!

Lastly, we will make a stop at a local farm dedicated to the cultivation of cherimoya, a signature fruit of the area. This 1-hour visit will provide insights into its growing process, along with the opportunity to sample some delicious products made from this fruit. You will have time for photography and to pick up souvenirs before our return to Lima.

After a day filled with excitement and exploration, we will return to the capital, concluding our journey at the original meeting point after 17 hours.
