Embarking on a captivating day trip, we will journey from Malaga to uncover the remarkable prehistoric archaeological marvels and the stunning nature reserve known for its striking geological features.

Day Trip to Antequera Dolmens and El Torcal

Your adventure begins at 8:30 am, where we will convene on Calle San Rafael in Malaga before heading towards Antequera's outskirts to explore the renowned Dolmens of Viera and Menga, as well as the El Torcal Nature Reserve.

Our first stop will be the Dolmens of Viera and Menga, a remarkable megalithic site that dates back over 6,000 years! Here, you will learn about this extraordinary archaeological wonder, recognized as a World Heritage Site and one of the pioneering examples of prehistoric monumental structures in Europe.

Following our exploration of the dolmens, we will proceed to the Tholos del Romeral. After this visit, we will continue to the El Torcal de Antequera Nature Reserve. This stunning karst terrain, also designated as a World Heritage Site, promises to leave you in awe.

At approximately 1:30 pm, you will be dropped off in the historic center of Antequera. Here, you can enjoy lunch and leisurely discover the beauty of the city. Before we part ways, we will provide you with a tourist map and a bus ticket for your return journey to Malaga. Simply board the public bus that departs Antequera at 5:15 pm.
