We will commence our journey at the designated time, gathering at Letras de Mérida to kick off this culinary exploration!

Our first stop will be at Gorditas Doña Gorda, aptly named to delight your taste buds with an authentic Mexican gordita. So, what exactly are gorditas? They are stuffed tortillas filled with your choice of savory pork rinds, beans, or any other tempting ingredients you desire! Next, we will make our way to Eulogio Rosado Park to savor a traditional poc chuc. This iconic dish features pork marinated in sour orange, offering a unique and delicious taste experience!

The journey continues to the San Benito market where we'll sample some refreshing local fruits such as huaya, nance, or guanábana. Here, we will indulge our palates with traditional tamales wrapped in a vegetable leaf. Enjoy this authentic Mexican delicacy!

Our adventure then leads us to Lucas de Galvez market for a taste of carnitas, flavorful pork seasoned with an array of herbs and spices. Naturally, no culinary tour would be complete without savoring some exquisite tacos al pastor, which are arguably the most famous tacos in the nation.

We will conclude our delightful tour with a tasting of fruity ice creams, before wrapping up the activity back at the meeting point at 6 PM.
