Nerja & Frigiliana Day Trip

Join us for a day trip from Málaga to uncover the natural beauty of Nerja and wander through the picturesque whitewashed streets of Frigiliana. This journey offers an authentic experience of Andalusia.

Day Trip Details

The trip begins with a pick-up at the designated meeting point in Málaga, from where we’ll travel by bus to Frigiliana. This beautiful village, perched in the Malaga hills, is renowned for its well-preserved traditional Andalusian white houses.

Upon arrival, you will have free time to explore Frigiliana at your own pace. The tour is self-guided, allowing you to choose how to best enjoy your visit.

Whether you wish to sample some local products such as choto, migas (fried breadcrumbs), and muscatel wine, or explore the historic 9th-century fortress, which marks the final remnant of Al-Andalus, the choice is all yours.

Afterwards, we will travel to Nerja, where you can enjoy a self-guided tour of this historic fishing village, now a leading tourist destination in Málaga. Visit the Balcony of Europe for panoramic views, or meander through the narrow streets to discover local shops and eateries.

We will then return to Málaga, concluding our trip after 7 to 8 hours.

To enhance your experience, consider adding a visit to the Nerja Caves! Opt for this addition for a 45-minute visit with an audioguide to these remarkable prehistoric caves, celebrated for their expansive chambers and stunning rock formations.

Before we head back, we’ll explore this natural wonder of the Málaga province, discovered in 1959. Inside, you'll witness remarkable geological formations and learn about the historical significance of this underground treasure.

After a memorable day, we’ll return to Málaga approximately 9 hours after departure.
