As dawn breaks, embark on a boat journey along the stunning Mancora coast, specifically designed for observing humpback whales. This expedition also offers an exceptional chance to swim with sea turtles.

Mancora Whale Watching Experience + Turtle Swimming

Your adventure begins with a pick-up at 6 am from your accommodation in Mancora, followed by a short trip to the local pier. Here, you will board a catamaran that will glide smoothly at sunrise through one of the most scenic stretches of Peru’s northern coastline.

During our sailing excursion, we'll be on the lookout for the magnificent humpback whales, which frequent these waters from July to October as they migrate to breed before returning to Antarctica. You may also catch glimpses of other ocean inhabitants, including dolphins and sea lions.

Once we've marveled at these majestic creatures, it's time to jump into the Pacific Ocean for a memorable swim alongside sea turtles. With gentle movements, you can swim closely to these fascinating reptiles, which can reach widths of up to 5 feet (1.5 meters)!

To conclude our outing, we will return to the boat where you can relish music on board. Feel free to bring your own refreshments to savor while enjoying the serene views from the deck. We will then head back to the pier and arrange your return to your hotel in Mancora, with an estimated arrival between 10:30 and 11 am.
