Seville Day Trip
Description
When exploring Andalucia, Seville stands out as a must-see destination. This day trip will introduce you to the enchanting allure of one of Spain’s most stunning cities.
Day Trip to Seville
We'll depart bright and early from 1 Avenida Ramón y Cajal in Marbella, journeying towards Seville. Our adventure begins with a guided exploration of the historic center, where we’ll traverse the Paseo de Colón, Plaza de América, Avenida de las Palmeras, María Luisa Park, and the Guadalquivir River, which gracefully bisects the city and separates Seville from the Triana district.
Our first stop will be the iconic Plaza de España. Here, you can take stunning photographs with the intricately decorated benches, renowned for their tile work and vibrant elegance, which contribute to the square’s fame.
Next, we’ll proceed to the enchanting Walled Gardens (Jardines de Murillo) and wander through the picturesque Santa Cruz neighborhood. Once the heart of the Jewish community during King Fernando III’s reign, this area is celebrated for its exquisite architecture and historical significance.
Our journey will then lead us to the Seville Cathedral, the world’s third-largest cathedral, following St Peter's in Rome and St. Paul's in London. Constructed in the 15th century, it is built atop the remnants of a 12th-century mosque, adding to its historical richness.
After our guided visit to the cathedral, you will have leisure time for lunch and further exploration of the captivating Andalusian capital. We will reconvene at the Torre del Oro (Golden Tower), located by the Guadalquivir River, to conclude a remarkable day.
