Description

We'll convene at your preferred time on Via Fegina in Monterosso al Mare. The kayaks will be ready for an enjoyable excursion through some of the most picturesque areas surrounding this charming town in Cinque Terre. Let's set off!

Prior to embarking, we'll go over essential safety protocols and share valuable tips for effective paddling.

And then the adventure begins! Following the directions of our guide, we will depart from Monterosso and explore the tranquil waters of Liguria. Throughout this journey, the impressive cliffs soaring above the sea will captivate us. Have you noticed the peculiar shapes of the rocks? We’ll delve into their unique formations!

As we kayak, you'll be amazed by the array of vivid houses lining the outskirts of Monterosso al Mare. Our guide will elaborate on the construction of these residences, after which we’ll pause to enjoy some snorkeling.

After approximately 2 hours of paddling, we’ll return to where we started.

Requirements

This activity is not recommended for individuals exceeding 100 kg (220 lbs) due to stability and safety concerns with the kayak. Additionally, it is crucial that participants can swim.

Informations importantes

We'll meet at the indicated time at Via Fegina 9bis (Carnassa Cinque Terre Kayak Tour). The local tour guide will be waiting for you at their little establishment on the beach; you'll see the blue flags with the Carnassa Kayak Tour logo. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

You'll be able to take a shower after the activity. You'll also have a locker to leave your belongings in.

Requirements

Please note that this activity is not suitable for people weighing more than 100 kg (220 lbs), as the kayak would not be stable or safe. It's also essential to know how to swim.

How to get to the Meeting Point

Once you have left the train station, turn right and walk for a few minutes with the sea on your left. We're the last establishment with orange and green striped umbrellas, before the car park. Look for a blue flag with the words ''Carnassa Kayak Tour'' at the top. Go down the stairs and you'll also see a white umbrella with the words ''kayak tour'' as the meeting point, where you'll have to wait for the guide!

Changes to the itinerary

As the tour is subject to sea conditions, the itinerary may change.

Additional Information

We'll provide you with all the necessary equipment to paddle safely, as well as a waterproof bag, a wetsuit in winter, and a lycra t-shirt (if you need it on the day of the excursion). We'll also lend you a small bag to keep your personal belongings safe. Shower and changing facilities are also available.
We recommend that you bring sunglasses, a hat, water, a small snack, a towel and sandals or non-slip shoes. In case of low temperatures, also warm sportswear.
