Activity Overview

At the specified time, we will gather at the entrance of Selvatura Park in Monteverde to embark on an exploration of the park’s lush environment. Are you prepared to make your way to the first zip line platform? Feel the thrill of the upcoming adventure building!

Upon arrival, we will equip ourselves with harnesses and helmets, followed by a comprehensive safety briefing. Once everyone is prepared, the journey will commence with a series of 13 zip line cables that weave through the canopy of the cloud forest, providing an opportunity to glide amongst centuries-old trees.

The overall experience will span approximately 2 hours, which includes walks between platforms and opportunities to pause and appreciate the stunning vistas of Monteverde. Did you realize that this specific type of forest thrives only in areas with a particular blend of altitude, humidity, and temperature conditions?

Following the exhilarating zip line adventure, we will shift our focus as we visit the sloth sanctuary. This part of the journey will encompass a 30 to 45-minute session aimed at observation and environmental education. During our time here, we will encounter a number of rescued sloths, learn to identify different species, and explore the reasons behind their slow movements and unique perception of time.

Ultimately, after enjoying a total of between 3 and 3.5 hours engaged in these enriching activities, our memorable excursion will come to a close.
