Tour Overview

At the scheduled time, our journey begins with a pickup in Naples as we make our way towards Herculaneum, an ancient settlement that fell victim to the devastating eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.

Upon arrival, the ruins will transport us back to Roman times. Our exploration starts at the House of the Corinthian Atrium, notable for its beautifully crafted mosaics and towering structures. Next, we will proceed to the House of the Deer, where stunning frescoes and a magnificently preserved marble floor await.

As we admire the thermal baths located in the Forum and a house featuring a mosaic of Neptune and Amphitrite, we will delve into the daily lives of Herculaneum's inhabitants. For instance, did you know this residence housed a grocery store?

We will continue our journey through the remarkable structures of this ancient locale, uncovering its rich history and the stories of its former residents. After a comprehensive exploration, we will take a bus back to our original meeting point in Naples, concluding our tour after approximately three hours.
