Private Nuwara Eliya 2 Day Excursion
Day 1
Your adventure begins with a pickup from your Colombo accommodation between 7 and 9 am as we travel to Kithulgala. The first highlight is an exhilarating session of rafting on the Kelani Ganga River, suitable for those seeking thrills on the rapids. Expect an exhilarating experience! Afterward, you’ll have an hour to enjoy lunch at your leisure.
In the afternoon, we will visit two remarkable natural features in the mountains: the stunning Devon and Saint Clair waterfalls. Continuing our journey, we will arrive in Nuwara Eliya, where a nighttime exploration will reveal the charm of the city, spotlighting the illuminated architecture along the shores of Lake Gregory.
Your first day culminates with an overnight stay at a centrally located hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 2
Following breakfast at the hotel, we will head to the outskirts of Nuwara Eliya to explore the Seetha Amman Hindu temple, adorned with vibrant sculptures that are sure to leave you in awe. Next, we’ll visit the Haggala Botanical Gardens, home to one of the country’s premier botanical collections.
After taking a break for lunch near Haggala, we will tour a tea plantation and its factory, gaining insight into Sri Lanka’s famous tea production. We'll conclude our day with a visit to the spectacular Ramboda waterfall.
Your experience will finish with a return trip to your Colombo hotel, expected to arrive by 7 pm.
Accommodation
This trip includes one night's stay with breakfast in Nuwara Eliya. Depending on your preference, you can select between accommodations in a 2 to 3-star hotel or a 4 to 5-star hotel. Here are the options available:
2 or 3-Star Hotels
Black Pool Hotel, Galaxy Grand Hotel, Heaven Seven Hotel, Galway Heights, Oak Ray Summer Hill Breeze, Alpine Hotel, or equivalent.
4 or 5-Star Hotels
