Description
Discover Novi Sad on this complimentary tour, wandering through its historic avenues and unveiling the essential landmarks and narratives alongside the picturesque Danube River. This is an opportunity not to be overlooked!
Overview of the Tour
We will convene at the scheduled time in Trg Slobode, situated in front of the Town Hall in Novi Sad, an ideal starting point enriched by remarkable architecture.
Initially, our journey takes us to the National Theater of Serbia, recognized as the oldest professional theater in the nation, where we will explore its significant history and contributions to culture.
Subsequently, we will meander along Zmaj Jovina Street, a vibrant pedestrian thoroughfare bustling with cafes, shops, and historical buildings, culminating at Danube Park, a tranquil green retreat nestled in the city center.
Throughout our walk, we will also take in notable sights such as the grand Bishop’s Palace and the Vojvodina Museum, alongside the poignant Monument to the Victims of Fascism, which presents a view of the legendary Petrovaradin Fortress.
After approximately 1.5 hours of this engaging exploration, we will conclude our complimentary tour of Novi Sad by the banks of the Danube River, adjacent to the Spomenik žrtvama racije, the Monument honoring the Victims of World War II.
