Quad Adventure Through the Towns of Lake Aitlan

Are you ready for an exciting experience in Panajachel? Join this quad excursion through the villages surrounding Lake Atitlán! You'll have the opportunity to visit picturesque towns, learn about local ceramics, and discover the wonders of Guatemalan cacao.

Tour Overview

Gather at the specified meeting point on Monte Rey Street, where you will receive your quad for an exhilarating journey through the enchanting towns of Lake Atitlán. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable adventure!

Your ride begins traversing the vibrant streets of Panajachel, leading to the main plaza of the Mayan village of Santa Catarina Palopó. Our first stop will be at Café Tuk, where you'll engage in a workshop focused on grinding coffee beans.

Following the workshop, we'll mount our quads again to cruise along the shores of Lake Atitlán toward San Antonio Palopó. We'll park our quads near the lake's pier and explore a nearby ceramics factory. Did you know that the ceramics from Palopó are a true Guatemalan treasure?

Next, we will head to a traditional chocolate factory, where you will gain insight into the process of Guatemalan cacao. Experience firsthand how dark chocolate is made in the Atitlán region and indulge in a delightful chocolate tasting!

After a memorable 4-hour journey, we’ll ride back on our quads and conclude the tour at our original meeting point.

Participation Requirements

It's important to note that participants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license to operate the quads. Children aged 13 to 17 are welcome to join but may only ride as guests.
