Are you ready to explore the hidden gem known as the Switzerland of Peru? Join us on this day trip to Canchaque, where we will uncover the rich history of this charming town and its stunning natural wonders!

Day Trip Details

Your adventure begins with a pick-up between 6 and 6:30 am at your hotel in Piura, followed by a scenic bus journey of approximately 3 hours to Canchaque.

Upon arrival at the picturesque Switzerland of Piura, we will take a brief pause for breakfast on your own. Then, we will embark on a walking tour to explore the breathtaking landscapes of this region, renowned for its lush, green hillsides.

Our first stop will be the suspension bridge, where you can take in the magnificent views of Limón Creek. The guided exploration will then lead us to the viewpoint of Huayanay hill. After that, you’ll enjoy 1.5 hours of free time to savor lunch at a local restaurant.

Post-lunch, we will embark on a brief hike to visit Los Peroles de Mishahuaca. This enchanting waterfall with crystal-clear waters is composed of three cascading levels, making it a mesmerizing sight that you won't want to miss!

The tour will conclude with a stroll through the historic center of Canchaque. Here, we will appreciate the colonial architecture found in the Plaza de Armas, a time capsule of sorts, and wander through the narrow streets of this lovely town while uncovering its captivating history.

To wrap up our day, we will return you to your hotel around 7 to 7:30 pm.
