Termas del Sol Day Trip

The stunning landscapes of the Chilean region of Los Lagos are a true delight for travelers right from their arrival. During this day trip from Puerto Montt, guests will have the opportunity to explore these breathtaking views and experience the rejuvenating hot springs at Termas del Sol.

Day Trip Overview

Commencing at 7:30 am, our team will meet you at your hotel in Puerto Montt to begin an extraordinary journey through one of the most picturesque areas of the Chilean Lake District.

Our first destination will be Ralún, a charming town situated at the mouth of the Petrohué River within the Reloncaví estuary. We will enjoy a brief scenic detour to witness the verdant endemic forest found in Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park. This remarkable natural area, nestled in the Andean foothills, offers captivating vistas that will leave a lasting impression.

Next, we will proceed to the picturesque town of Cochamó, enveloped by the enchanting Valdivian rainforest. After taking in the stunning views, we will head to Puelo to explore the Termas del Sol, a prominent thalassotherapy center on the outskirts of this town in the Los Lagos region.

You will enjoy three hours of leisure time at this thermal center, which features a variety of outdoor pools crafted from stone. The water temperatures range from 36 to 45 degrees Celsius (96 to 113 degrees Fahrenheit), sourced from a nearby thermal spring that reaches a peak of 60 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Fahrenheit). After a refreshing soak, guests can also replenish their energy at the resort's restaurant.

Concluding our visit to Termas del Sol, we will make our way back to your hotel in Puerto Montt, arriving by 5:30 pm.

Pickup Information

Please note that this excursion includes pickup from hotels in central Puerto Montt only (excluding apartments). If you are lodging in an apartment or a hotel located farther away, we will arrange to meet at the entrance of the Ibis Hotel (Diego Portales 1001, 5480000 Puerto Montt, Los Lagos).

This experience is not suitable for cruise passengers as we unfortunately cannot provide pickup at the port.
