Tour Overview
At the agreed meeting point, located at the entrance of the Basilica of Santi Cosma e Damiano, we'll gather before embarking on this exclusive visit to some of the most significant sites in world history.
Our first stop is the Colosseum, the largest remaining amphitheater globally. Entering through the Gladiators' Gate, you'll step directly onto the Arena floor, gaining a unique perspective that transports you back in time. Immerse yourself in the storied past of this arena, where fierce gladiators once fought, and uncover details of its remarkable construction under the Flavian emperors.
Following our Colosseum visit, we will delve into the Roman Forum, learning about daily life in this central space that once served as the heartbeat of ancient Rome's political and social life.
Next, our journey leads us to the archaeological site of Palatine Hill, believed to have been settled since 1000 BC. This significant elevation is where the legend asserts the city of Rome was founded. Here, we’ll explore the intriguing history of Rome and the captivating myths that influenced its development.
After approximately three hours, our private tour will come to a close.
