At your convenience, you will meet your guide on Via Poliziano. Your journey begins with a walking tour through San Quirico d'Orcia, where you'll unveil the highlights of this beautiful Tuscan locality.
The exploration commences with an insight into the town's importance during the Middle Ages, serving as a sanctuary for pilgrims heading to Rome via the Via Francigena, a captivating narrative!
During the tour, you'll marvel at the Collegiate Church of San Quirico, a Romanesque structure distinguished by its three intricately adorned porticoes dating from various eras, alongside the Church of San Francesco. Next, we will visit the Horti Leonini, a quintessential example of 16th-century Italian gardens, featuring a statue dedicated to Cosimo III de Medici and remnants of the Cassero tower, which was destroyed in World War II.
Upon concluding your private tour in San Quirico d'Orcia, you may use your personal vehicle or public transport to reach Bagno Vignoni, an ancient medieval settlement situated merely 6 kilometers away.
Once you arrive, a guided tour will illuminate the unique aspects that make Bagno Vignoni captivating. Prepare to be intrigued by its unusual main square, which is actually a vast thermal spring basin.
