Routes & Stops of the Sharjah Tourist Bus

The Sharjah City Sightseeing Tourist Bus offers an excellent opportunity to fully experience the third-largest city in the UAE. This service features two distinct day tours: the leisure route (red) and the cultural route (green). Travel aboard a double-decker bus designed with an open top to witness the most significant monuments and sights while enjoying English-language recorded commentary that shares their fascinating histories.

Along the three available routes, you'll encounter numerous intriguing stops. Discover the Blue Souk, renowned for its stunning market atmosphere; behold the grandeur of the vast Al Noor Mosque; enjoy the tranquility of nature at the city’s Palm Tree Oasis; and share memorable moments with family at the Aquarium, where a 48-hour ticket grants you complimentary entry!

Operational Mechanism

Your ticket for the Sharjah Tourist Bus is valid for 24 hours from your initial use, based on the purchased option. For instance, if you activate your ticket on a Monday at 3 PM, it will remain valid until the next Tuesday at 3 PM.

During the validity of your ticket, you have the flexibility to hop on and off the buses at any stop along the route, allowing you to customize your experience in Sharjah according to your preferences.

While booking, you are required to choose a start date, but you can activate your ticket within 12 months from that selected date.

Schedule of Operations

Leisure route (red line): operates daily, with departures every 30 minutes. This route covers 13 stops, and the full journey (without disembarking) takes 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Cultural route (green line): also available daily, with departures every 1 hour and 15 minutes. This route includes 9 stops, and the entire tour lasts 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Both routes run from 9 AM to 7 PM from October to May, and from 10 AM to 5 PM from June to September.

Informations importantes

Your ticket will be valid for 24 or 48 hours from the time of first use, depending which option you have selected. So, for example, if you first use a 48-hour ticket on a Monday at 3 pm, it will be valid until the Wednesday at 3 pm. During this time, you can hop on and off the buses at any of the stops along the route.

Although when you book you'll be asked to select a start day, you can start using the service within 12 months from the selected date.
