Nestled within the lush greenery of the Sintra mountains, the Biester Palace is a 19th-century estate that has recently opened up for public exploration.

This site, showcasing significant historical and artistic value, was crafted by renowned architects of the era, including José Luiz Monteiro and Luigi Manini, who is also known for the iconic Quinta da Regaleira.

With this ticket, you will gain entry to both the house and its gardens, which feature a stunning Romantic design. Upon entering the Biester Palace through the Entrance Gallery, visitors are greeted by the exquisite coffered wooden ceilings and the captivating Naturalistic frescoes that adorn its interiors.

The exploration will take you through the elegant Drawing Room, the majestic Banquet Hall complete with its Neo-Gothic portico, the stately atrium, and a chapel rich in Templar motifs. Should you delve into the basement of the mansion, you'll discover an Initiatory Chamber linked to the gardens via a hidden tunnel.

The expansive park that envelopes the palace provides a tranquil haven adorned with exotic flora, tranquil ponds, and verdant spaces. Visitors can leisurely wander through the verdant landscape and ascend to the various lookout points that offer stunning views of the Castelo dos Mouros.

The Biester Palace welcomes guests daily, operating at the following times:

  • April - September: 10 am to 8 pm, with the last entry at 7 pm.
  • October - March: 10 am to 6:30 pm, with the final admission at 5:30 pm.
