Tour Overview

Day 1: Arrival in Tangier - Journey to Tétouan and Chefchaouen

Your adventure begins with a pickup from Tangier Airport or your accommodation. Prepare for a captivating 7-day journey through Morocco, delving into its diverse cultures, stunning landscapes, and historic cities.

We'll travel for about 1.5 hours, reaching our first destination: Tétouan, also known as The White Dove due to the hue of its structures. Explore its unique blend of Arabic and Mediterranean architecture during an hour and a half visit.

Next, we continue towards the delightful city of Chefchaouen. Upon arrival, you'll have the afternoon to immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere of the blue city. Alternatively, consider joining a complimentary tour of Chefchaouen, or simply enjoy lunch at a local eatery.

As the day concludes, you’ll retire to your hotel in Chefchaouen for a well-deserved rest.

Day 2: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Arrival in Fez

After breakfast, we set off toward Volubilis, a remarkable Roman site and one of Morocco's archaeological highlights. You'll have an hour and a half to explore its beautifully preserved mosaics and ancient temples.

Following this, we travel to Meknes, one of the country's historical imperial cities. Here, you'll have two hours to uncover its rich history—don’t miss out on the magnificent Bab Mansur al-'Alj, the Sahrij Souani reservoir, and the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.

In the afternoon, we arrive in Fez, settling into a serene riad. Enjoy the rest of the day free to wander and savor Fez's culinary delights.

Day 3: Exploring Fez

On the morning of Day 3, after breakfast, we embark on a guided exploration of Fez, often referred to as Morocco's intellectual and religious nucleus, home to close to 800 mosques. Starting at the Royal Palace gate and the Jewish quarter, or Mellah, our journey continues into the Medina of Fez, recognized as the largest in North Africa and designated as a World Heritage Site. Our path will take us through winding streets leading to significant sites including Bab Boujloud, the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Nejjarine fountain, and the renowned Quaraouiyine Mosque. A day full of cultural discovery awaits!

Concluding the day, you will have leisure time for lunch and further exploration of the city at your own pace before returning to the riad.

Day 4: From Fez to Rabat and Casablanca

After a hearty breakfast, we depart for Rabat, Morocco's capital and a true historic treasure. You will have three hours to visit highlights such as the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, and the mausoleum of Mohammed V, built in honor of the sultan who led the country to independence and protected by royal guards in ceremonial attire.

We will also explore the picturesque Kasbah of the Oudayas before heading to Casablanca for our overnight stay.

Day 5: Discovering Casablanca

Your day begins with a guided tour of Casablanca, Morocco's economic heart. We'll visit iconic structures, including the Hassan II Mosque, which ranks as the second-largest globally after Mecca, positioned by the Atlantic coast. A leisure stroll along the Corniche will reveal the city's avant-garde spirit alongside its traditions.

The afternoon is yours to continue savoring the city and its diverse culinary offerings. Looking forward to your next adventure!

Day 6: Arrival in Marrakech

Following breakfast on the last full day, we embark on a journey to Marrakech, located around 240 km (149 miles) away. Upon arrival, we will start our tour at the lively Jemaa el-Fna Square, teeming with snake charmers, jugglers, and food vendors, which encapsulates the essence of Marrakech's vibrant life.

The exploration includes visits to the grand Koutoubia Mosque and the Saadian Tombs, along with the exterior of the Bahia Palace. Spend time wandering through the bustling souks, filled with unique crafts and captivating scents.

After the guided segment of your day, enjoy free time for lunch and continued exploration before we regroup in the evening at our accommodation.

Day 7: Farewell to Marrakech

On your final day, you are free to explore Marrakech as you wish. If you have a flight scheduled for today, we can provide transfer to the airport at your preferred time for your departure.

Adjustments to Itinerary

Please note that the Bab Mansur al-'Alj and Sahrij Souani are currently closed for renovations and will remain so until further notice.

Accommodations

This itinerary includes 6 nights of lodging with breakfast at carefully selected 3-star hotels and riads:

• Chefchaouen (1 night): El Palacio & Spa, Dar terrae plus, or similar
• Fez (2 nights): Riad Jeanne, Riad Farah, or similar
• Marrakech (2 nights): Oum Palace Hotel & Spa, Kenzi Basma Hotel, or similar
• Casablanca (1 night): Riad Dar Soukaina, Les Jardins Mandaline, or similar

Children between 6 and 12 years are eligible for a discount on the adult fare if they share a room with parents or guardians. Only one child is permitted per double room. Children under 6 can travel free of charge as long as they share a bed with adults.

Essential Information: Schedules & Flight Details

When arranging your departure flight to Tangier, please ensure that pickup is at 10 am; thus, your arrival flight should not be later than 8 am. To circumvent potential issues, we highly recommend staying at a hotel in Tangier the night before the tour begins, which will be at your own expense.

On the tour's final day, we can arrange transportation to the airport based on your indicated schedule.
