Exploration of the Sacred Valley of the Incas

During the booking process, you have the option to select from the following excursions:

Standard Experience (10 hours)

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel between 7:30 and 8:00 am, as we embark towards the ruins of Pisac, renowned for their stunning Incan remnants in Peru. Prepare your camera for breathtaking views!

In Pisac, we'll take some time to explore local artisan shops, showcasing exquisite handcrafted products by local vendors. Afterward, we will navigate along the Vilcanota River to reach Urubamba, the heart of the Sacred Valley. Here, there's the opportunity to enjoy a meal at a traditional restaurant or opt for a typical Andean buffet.

Next, we will visit the Ollantaytambo ruins for a guided exploration of this historical landmark. Marvel at the impressive architectural strength as we wander through the site. Following our visit, a brief stop in Chinchero will allow us to see the Church of Nuestra Señora de Monserrat and delve into its rich history before we drive back to Cuzco.

Your journey concludes upon returning to your hotel.

Comprehensive Experience (12 hours)

Around 6:30 to 7:00 am, you will be collected from your hotel to begin the day at Chinchero, our initial archaeological destination.

Following this, we will travel to Maras, where we will explore Moray and its intriguing circular terraces. Additionally, a visit to the salt mines will reveal their historical significance during the Incan civilization. With over 3,000 evaporation ponds once managed by local families, these salt resources played a vital role in their economy.

A delectable lunch featuring traditional Andean dishes will follow, with various local restaurant options available in Urubamba.

Our next destination is Ollantaytambo, a site rich in history dating back to the 15th century. Here, we will uncover landmarks such as the Temple of the Sun, the Princess' baths, and the ceremonial Intihuatana.

The final highlight of our excursion will lead us back to the stunning Pisac ruins, home to an extensive array of Andean structures and one of the country's most well-preserved Andean cemeteries.

Your exploration of the Sacred Valley of the Incas will conclude with your return to your hotel.

Pickup Information

For both tour options, hotel pickup services are limited to accommodations situated in the historic city center of Urubamba. If your lodging is in a different location, we will provide instructions on where to meet.

Pickup times are as follows:

• Standard Experience: between 7:45 am and 8:00 am, starting activities at Pisac around 8:55 am.
• Comprehensive Experience: between 6:35 am and 6:50 am, initiating activities in Chinchero at 7:50 am.

Tour Conclusion

During the booking process, you will have the option to specify your preferred destination for the tour's conclusion:

• Your accommodation within the Sacred Valley (Urubamba, Ollantaytambo, or Yucay).
• The historic center of Cusco: adjacent to the Plaza de Armas, between Calle Heladeros and Plaza Regocijo.

Lunch Options

You may choose between a tour that includes lunch or one that does not. The inclusive meal will be a buffet featuring traditional Andean cuisine.
