Arroyo Frío Canyoning Activity

Discover the stunning landscapes of the Dominican Republic through our canyoning experience at Arroyo Frío, located near Jamao al Norte. This trip promises captivating natural beauty and thrilling water jumps from rocky heights.

Activity Overview

At the scheduled time, you will be collected from your chosen hotel in the El Cibao region, followed by a journey to Arroyo Frío, the starting point of our canyoning expedition.

Upon arrival, we’ll embark on a 2.5-mile (4-kilometer) canyoning route. Participants will have the chance to wade and swim through more than 60 natural water pools, glide down spectacular natural water slides, leap from various heights, and explore hidden caves.

At noon, a break will allow you to savor a delectable appetizer featuring locally sourced cheese and rodao, a distinctive biscuit. Following this, we'll continue our exploration of the Arroyo Frío canyon, surrounded by its vibrant greenery. Anticipating your hunger, we will provide a traditional Dominican meal with rice, beans, chicken, salad, and refreshing beverages.

Finally, we will return to the original pickup point, expected between 8 to 12 hours after the start of the adventure.
