Arroyo Frío Canyoning Activity

Discover the stunning landscapes of the Dominican Republic through the Canyoning Adventure in Arroyo Frío, departing from Jamao al Norte. This experience offers you the chance to immerse yourself in breathtaking natural surroundings and leap from rocky outcrops into refreshing waters.

Activity Overview

At the designated time, you will be collected from your chosen hotel in the El Cibao region and transported to Arroyo Frío, the starting point of our canyoning journey.

Upon arrival, we will embark on a 2.5-mile (4-kilometer) canyoning trail. During the adventure, you will wade through and swim across more than 60 water pools, enjoy exhilarating rides down natural water slides, take thrilling jumps from various heights, and discover hidden caves along the way.

At noon, we will pause to enjoy a delightful snack featuring locally sourced cheese and rodao (a traditional biscuit). After this refreshment, our exploration of the Arroyo Frío canyon will continue, revealing its vibrant flora. By this time, you are likely to be hungry, so a traditional Dominican lunch comprising rice, beans, chicken, salad, and beverages will be provided.

Following our lunch, we will head back to the meeting point, where we expect to arrive within a time frame of 8 to 12 hours.
